Sex Offender, Child Sex Assault Suspect on the Run

Cleveland, TX – Police say that a man is on the run after allegedly raping a child.

Edward Tullos, 33, is already a registered sex offender and is accused of attacking a 19-year-old girl at a party.

The incident happened at the home of Lloyd Lewis, a Clevland ISD school board member.

Lewis’ son and daughter had thrown a party while their father was out of town.  Tullos had allegedly brought alcohol to the party.

The 19-year-old victim says that she became impaired and disoriented at the party and was later held down and sexually assaulted.

Lewis’ son and daughter were also charged with giving false statements to the police.

“Mr. Tullos should be considered armed and dangerous, and he has made the comment he is not going back to prison,” says Capt. Rex Evans.

Tullos was last seen in Splendora.  If you have any information about the whereabouts of Larry Tullos, you are urged to call 911.
