Man arrested in Richmond sports bar shooting

Fort Bend authorities have arrested, Jose Luis Gonzalez-Solis, the suspect believed to have shot a man outside of a Richmond sports bar on September 5.

Gonzalez-Solis was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and is currently being held in the Ft Bend County Jail on a $150,000 bond.

According to police, Gonzalez-Solis was leaving Paraiso Sports Bar when he began arguing with another man over a woman – which escalated until Gonzalez-Solis brandished a gun and shot, hitting the 34-yr-old victim in the back.

The injured man was transported to the hospital, and was expected to recover.

Police report that Gonzalez-Solis currently has a hold from Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
