Fort Worth Man Sentenced to 99 Years for Rape of Girl, 12

A man in Fort Worth was sentenced to 99 years behind bars on Thursday for sexually assaulting a family friend, 12, and trying to compel her to commit prostitution.

The victim spent the night at the defendant’s home last summer. He lived there with his girlfriend and her three kids. According to prosecutors, Davis raped the child before he took her to a local drinking establishment and told the bar’s customers they could pay $50 to engage in sex with her. No-one accepted his offer.
