UT Quarterback, 19, was Drunk, Had Fake ID
A freshman backup quarterback who plays for the University of Texas at Austin was taken into police custody on charges of public intoxication and carrying a fake ID.
Connor Brewer, 19, was arrested by the university’s police on Saturday. A spokeswoman for the school said both crimes are misdemeanors that carry a top penalty of $500 in fines.
According to court documents, Brewer appeared before a justice of the peace and was released from jail 11 hours after his arrest.
