Unsupervised Disabled Girl Found in Apartment
When police deputies delivered an eviction notice on Thursday, they found a disabled 4-year-old girl in a crib in the southwest Houston apartment.
The child was connected to a ventilator and a feeding tube. Police took her to a nearby hospital for a check-up. Her mother, LaTasha Davidson, 21, is facing child endangerment charges.
Davidson and her two other kids came home 30 minutes after the officers arrived. It is unknown where the defendant and her children went.
