Houston Judge Charged in Hit-and-Run Incident
A Houston municipal court judge is facing two felony accusations for her involvement in a hit-and-run incident that happened in southwest Houston.
If found guilty, Judge Gladys Bransford might be imprisoned.
On Tuesday afternoon Graciela Al-Muhammadawy was walking to her car when she was struck by Bransford’s black Mercedes. The judge purportedly opened her car door and asked if the victim was OK. She drove away after telling Al-Muhammadawy that she was going to call an ambulance and her insurance company.
The alleged victim happened to see Bransford’s license plate as she got away.
Al-Muhammadawy revealed that she is taking pain medication for her injuries. The news media noted that her left hand is visibly bruised and swollen.
