56-Year-Old Woman Charged in Child’s Sexual Assault – Daughter says mother was HIV-positive

Houston investigators have charged Debra Flowers Haggerty, 56, with aggravated sexual assault of a child on September 17 – for allegedly using her mouth and saliva as a deadly weapon in the attack on the child. Haggerty is reportedly HIV-positive.

The charging document states that Haggerty used her mouth and saliva, and “that in the manner of its use and intended use was capable of causing death and serious bodily injury.”
